Not so sure about the front 3/4 and side views though. The R8 loses a ton of its identity without those sideblades.

I have never liked the side blades, the scoops look much better to me... probably why I like the Spyder better.

Without the sideblades it loses a lot of its identity. It's like if the Ferrari lost its 4 red tail lights...... oh.

It may not look like the 'typical' R8 without sideblades but it looks BETTER w/o side blades.

Look at how much cleaner the lines flow w/o the sideblades on the car.

Just imagine how clean the coupe would look w/o sideblades. It would flow sooo much better. Less choppy-ness in the overall design IMO (aside from it being a conv.)

I love the way this spyder looks. It takes the R8 to a whole nother level.

It looks good but the sideblades identifies the R8....... I must agree that the sypder version feels more like a car for the femmes
