What colour do you guys think will work best for a interlagos blue E92?

I've currently got pressed graphite SL's 18" and was recently thinking about respraying them either red or white. They will only ever be used on the track. I run 220's for daily drive.

Oh yeah, my brembos are orange. Kinda leaning towards white

[QUOTE=slicer;14106007]I had these for approximately two weeks.... I couldn't grow to like the Bronze and SSII color combo.

Wheel Specs

Front - 18 x 9.5 et22 with 5mm spacer (effective et17) & 275/35/18 Hankook RS3's
(Slight rub at full lock)

Rear - 18 x 10.5 et22 & 285/35/18 Hankook RS3's
(No rubbing)

Love the offset on the fronts, Do you think a 295/35/18 R888 would rub in the rear with the TE's 10.5 + 22?

Yes it absolutely would rub. Et22 is too aggressive for 295/35/18's unless they are tire that runs narrow and round. The tire will hit the metal fender and remove the paint. I am running 295/35/18 G-Force Rivals on 10.5 et25 rear wheels and they have literally 1mm of clearance. In fact I'm not positive that I won't have problems with them on the track.... I will find out tomorrow. Edit - 295/35/18's have been track tested on 10.5" et25 wheels. They did not rub on the track, but I'm convinced that they would rub with a wheel that had any lower offset than et25.

Thanks for quick reply, so I guess 285 would be the better bet.

Here is my contribution to this thread. Looking forward to hearing everyone's comments. Good or bad.

Edit: Please pardon the lug nuts. Still waiting on my Project Kics 40 neochrome lug nuts. Apparently, they are on back order for 6-8 weeks. Then I can put +10mm spacers all around.

Looking for fitment advice:

I currently have 18x9.5" ET22 and 18x10.5" ET22 TE37 wtih 275/35/18 square. I have the opportunity to trade my fronts for a pair of 18x10.5" ET22 to make a 18x10.5" square setup for the track. Will this fit fine in the front with 275/35/18 or 285/35/18 tires?

BTW I have camber set to -3.2 in the front and JRZ RS1 suspension with Eibach springs, helper springs have been removed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's how she sits now on the staggered setup:

I have seen it done with OEM suspension. Why don't you put your rear wheels onto the front and find out? You already have wheels and tires in the exact size you are asking about.... Nobody is better equipped to test them than you. Please report back once you find out.

Rigid Tune lookin' hawt!

What offset options were available to you for 9.5 and 10.5? Was the next lower offset going to be too aggressive?

I'm not saying yours isn't aggressive. Just curious as to what's being offered.

Get those RT's out of this thread! JK They look sick in red, nice choice. Do the RT's allow for center caps?

Do you have more pics of the E92 on Mag Blue SL's??

Thanks people,

Lets see about your questions,

As for offset options its pretty limited for the RT. Not many 5x120 fits, mostly Japanese fitments. et 21 was the lowest I saw.

As for color the RT only come in one color "Burning Red" its a unique color more of a Blood Red.

No center caps offered by Rays, not sure if the IND kit would work.

The wheels are a bit different than the SL version I have on my Z4M. They have a anti-slip knurling to keep the tire in check, also they are 6% stiffer and designed for aggressive track use. The barrel profile is slightly tweaked which gives the extra stiffness. No decals, Volk is engraved in the spoke.

As for pics of the of the other m3 with Mag Blue SLs, I don't have any but Autocouture Motoring should have on their Facebook Page.

I really wanted a set of TE37 ultra in Matt Blue but they only come in 20" and I DD the E90.

Wonder if any other e9x are running these...
