How long till these forums are gone?

So looking through my bar at the top I don't see any of the previous version M forums, makes me wonder how long these forums(e9x board) will stay here? Or do the preview versions still exist but hidden from the main page?

Huh? I doubt E9x portions of site would disappear. Bimmerpost I believe was created around 2006 in anticipation for the then new, and the now, out-going generation of BMW cars, with massive focus on the E9x cars. That's why there's few sections craved out for Pre-2006 BMWs.

there's forums for the older models, and it's not Bimmerpost. The other forums were established well before. If this is all you know, you need to do some reading.

Not flaming. Being literal. There's a huge wealth of resources for the e30, e36, e46 and e9x cars other than here. I'm saying embrace and read it all. Surprised if people don't know that also. BMW drivers are a diff breed though too.

This is "M3Post" not "E9x M3Post." When the F8x M3/4 is more mainstream, will this site continue, or will it be relegated to a single "sub forum" of what is a de facto F8x M3/4 main forum? It's a valid question.

Just because this site came into being with the E9x was hitting it's stride doesn't mean it will always stay that way.

That's what's funny. This is M3post... But this forum is really only e9x cars.

The other forum is: e46

Then you have another forum for the e30 following.

Have you seen this e46 sub forum?
