Heel Toe almost impossible?

Is the heel to toe(regular driving conditions) almost impossible on the M3? The brake pedal just seems so much higher in relative to the gas pedal. I did perfect heel to toes on my G35 Coupe but almost never manage to get it right on the M.

Anyone have any helpful suggestions? Not heel and toeing just makes driving not feel right...

Maybe it's because I have short legs and small asian feet? Size 11 isn't that small? lol

Rev matching is easy with the power button activated, but heel to toeing is another story for me...

+1, I heel toe by rolling my foot over rather than using the heel on the previous cars.

It doesnt work out too well because I step on the brake pretty hard sometimes to do that.

To the OP, you should def check this site out. http://www.ultimatepedals.com

Seems alright. I have to use the ball of my foot to brake and use the side of my foot to blip the throttle, works well for me

Precisely, on the track, it might be easier to heel toe because you depress the brake fully. But on the streets, you have to modulate the brake pedal pressure while blipping the throttle which makes it quite difficult.

just roll your foot. It has become a habit for me whenever i downshift no matter how pansy im driving. Even in very pedestrian mellow corners, where there is not much brake action needed, i rev match.

It also makes a difference depending on your shoes. If you have small feet and wear narrow shoes it may be a bit more difficult...

Yeah. It sucks because it takes time to get used to which shouldn't be the case. The Evo IX had perfect pedal placement. It was a dream to drive it to the supermarket and at the racetrack.

Wish the brake pedal was a tad lower.. Even better if the gas pedal wasn't pivoted against the floor.

Just roll your foot. I have trouble in other cars because I'm not used to a normal pedal.

My arms are too straight if I set the seat at the right distance so I can actually heel/toe. But I'm over 6'4. I can "roll" my foot as cowmoo says if I have the right shoes on.

I think it's easier in the M than it was in my 911. Pedal placement seams great.

I need some practice at this. I haven't done it much but usually when I try I step on the brake too hard. I probably need to just play around a little more to get the feel for it.

Was fine for me in the MT6 cars I've driven. As others have said, I used the rolling the foot technique.

+1. Works perfectly for me just rolling the side of the foot onto the gas while braking. Seems almost identical to the E46.
