Ohlins on e93 M3?
Has anyone tried this? Are they even compatible? Any insight on whether this would be a good mod would be appreciated as well.
Thanks! |

I don't know if they tested the kit on an E93. It probably needs different springs given the 400 lbs extra weight you're carrying.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Most likely it'll "work" as in it fits and you can drive on it. How good the handling will be is another question because they weren't designed for the car. But if you don't go to the track, it should be fine.

This is one of the best suspension modification i have ever made on any of the cars i have owned. I thought the Ohlins coilovers were over-priced until i installed and tested them. I think they give more performance for their price. Highly recommended for any performance/track junkie. |
