Ohlins on e93 M3?

Has anyone tried this? Are they even compatible? Any insight on whether this would be a good mod would be appreciated as well.

It looks like it's compatible with E93 M3 as well.

I don't know if they tested the kit on an E93. It probably needs different springs given the 400 lbs extra weight you're carrying.

Most likely it'll "work" as in it fits and you can drive on it. How good the handling will be is another question because they weren't designed for the car. But if you don't go to the track, it should be fine.

that's what I'm wondering about as well. Even if it's compatible. What would the implications of extra load on the springs be?

Out of the box R&T will work just fine on the E93. Spring rates is not much of a concern as they are still way higher rate than what came from the factory.

I have just installed them yesterday on a friends 2009 M3 E93 with DCT. It is a night & day difference. Ride quality ha, ros improved immensley. Especialy road bumps and pot holes are now felt much more less. Best of all, it has helped so much by making the car corner at higher speeds. Not to mention the fact that they have a 20-click adjustable rebound setting knob. The camber plates were a plus. Workmanship is 2nd to none.

This is one of the best suspension modification i have ever made on any of the cars i have owned. I thought the Ohlins coilovers were over-priced until i installed and tested them. I think they give more performance for their price. Highly recommended for any performance/track junkie.
