I think nawazz's exhaust is reaching legendary status. I'm at F2 next door to where he did the dyno. They were big fans. If this PPI is clean I'm bringing one back to Dtown!

Price Point Inspection.

People have them performed by a dealership or trusted indy shop to determine if the price at which a car is listed for sale is appropriate for its condition.

I didn't have an absolute wonderful experience since I really couldn't unleash my M3 the way I wanted to. Drivers Edge was pretty strict in wanting me to get my fundamentals down first. That's all good, but I still wanted to push my M3 on my own. I guess I have to put my immaturity behind me, so that I may become a capable driver.

So it's a 'maybe' on me going for another track day, since I have a tough schedule ahead of me currently.

Does anyone know a local (Dallas) home theater business that does home installations? I need a plasma TV mounted and speaker wire/HDMI cable run in my wall.

Ok. I have lots of friends and family in Houston but...

Every time I go there its a sucky experience.

Here is this time. I took a day off work to try and go pick up the car and come back by dinner. I finally get to the dealer at 1:00 after taking some "highway" that was nothing but stop lights every 2 feet for God knows how long after getting off of 45. The PPI was supposed to already be done when I got there but of course they were "too busy" (having a reacharound party) at the dealer to do it. So then I take the car for the PPI... I then return to find out that they did draw up the paper work to finance a portion of the car to build my credit. Then I SEE the paper work. They raised the price of the car 1600 dollars and then charged 4000 dollars to give me a loan for 10000 at 12.5%.

Ya. Im sure you are thinking what I said... ARE YOU Fing CRAZY?!

I could buy 5600 dollars worth of stuff on a credit card and build my credit AND have stuff to show for the money. He didnt seem to follow me so I made it real clear. Draw it up cash only. Then I had to run to bank america and get finances pooled to buy the whole thing cash by 4PM. IT was 3:45.

If they had just done like I asked and worked all this out Saturday then it could have been avoided.

SO. Instead of getting back by 5 or 6, I got to leave Houston at 5. I didnt get to I 45 for an hour and I wasnt even far away. And of course it dumped rain the whole time. All day.

This is just one of many bad experiences there.

Here's to hoping the Houston M3 owners are cool and make up for Houston itself.

Yeah, I'm still struggling to see how this was the city that made your experience bad. Aawww, da twaffic...Dallas has it too.

I'm just saying, I've got tons of things that I really don't like about Dallas (spent five years living there, so that gives me good reasoning for how I feel), but you don't see me talking sh!t about the city. So you had a problem with the stealership, let me call you...

We can agree to disagree, that's fine. Don't talk sh!t about my hometown (as most Dallas natives do), and I won't about yours.

i lived in houston for 2 years, but i couldn't get back to dallas quick enough. houston is drab and boring, not to mention the poor city planning. this isn't to say there are some good things about houston, but i can't really remember them.

Some words of wisdom please

Where did you guys get your tints done in Dallas? The car has a nice tint now but the small window behind the main passenger window has a scratch in the tint so I want to get it taken off and replaced to match.
