I will say one thing after watching that game today. You guys need to protect Cutler better. That was brutal. At half time, I didn't have a doubt in my mind that they were gonna pull him. But for some reason they played hard for all 60 minutes.
Thanks - Bears and NW.

Not really. I actually think this Bears team is not very good. They did a fantastic job of maximizing their strengths and hiding their weaknesses. That and a philosophical offensive change after the bye is a credit to the staff. That is difficult for me to say as I hate Lovie.

You are correct about protecting Cutler, that has been their achilles heel all season but has gotten better as of late.

I just hate when fans of other teams who could have controlled their own destinies start hating on the Bears for being exactly what they are...a team that depends on their defense to keep the opposing offense from making big plays and get some turnovers, and special teams to win the field position battle all the while hoping the offense can score just enough. Stuff like that tampa dude ripping the nfc north when his team lost by 3 to DET and their 3rd string qb. Win that game and I believe they are in...

Don't go hating on the Bears because they took care of their own business and your teams did not.

Not terrible but not great either....just not as good as the bears last week. Offense could be better for sure.

WTF does it matter anyway...Patriots or Steelers are gonna win it all anyway.

Fixed, but very true. Given how their D can still play, IMO, all they need is a decent QB. Given the seasonal (football, that is) problems w/ their O-line, it doesn't matter who is back there. After awhile, any quarterback would play rattled. Me thinks even a mobile QB like Vick or a prime McNabb would have problems after awhile, too.

While not Vick, Cutler is also pretty mobile. That and his ability to create something out of nothing at times has helped hide just how bad this line is. Cutler isn't an elite QB. But he has taken a few steps forward this season, IMO and is pretty solid on most Sundays. Now if he didn't have to run for his life....

Cutler has a friggin' cannon. Now if only you could keep him from throwing off his back foot... like the half a retard behind center in NY.

haha... Oh I guess if you want me to play captain obvious I might mention the bears have 2 wins against teams with winning records this season. But I am sure you knew that already. But like someone said earlier, you can only play the teams on your schedule.

Damn you are salty for a guy that gets to watch post season football.

Don't sell him short...he's a full retard. I think Peyton might have taken all the brains along with neck.

OK, I don't really mean that, but it made me giggle.

not salty at all, just sick of out of towners hatin' on my teams... especially when it had nothing to do with their teams (mostly the Badger game last night and not referring to you specifically). You shoulda seen my PM box last night.
