Will your dealer mount your tires (or wheels)?
I am looking to get some winter shoes. I assumed that I would pick out what I wanted on tire rack and then have them drop shipped to my dealer.
I stopped by today, and they told me that they would not install anything non-OEM. Therefore, my only option was to buy a winter set from them ($3200). I was also considering getting some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus and using them all year. The are unable to get the tires (since they are not BMW approved). What does everybody else do? Are my other options a basic auto shop? Thoughs? |

You can call Tirerack and ask for a list of recommended installers in your area. It shouldn't be too hard to find someone else that will do this for you at about $15-$20 per wheel at the most.

of course they can. I was quoted for $355 +tax to mount my winters on the OEM 18's last week. So I went to a local shop 2 mins away from them and got it done for $150. Stealership!!! LOL!
