DCT is the better performer by far, but i'm sure the 6MT is a little more fun. Resale is better with Auto tranny's.

I'm one of those that say Tech pkg. is a must, personally I don't see a point in buying a manual car these days especially when the automatic allows you to drive it in the same manner and allows you to customize so much. I say buy neither get a DCT w/Tech and you will be very happy! A car is a big investment and not one made often, hold off and order one. You won't be disappointed.

I witnessed Drew's M3 DCT with bolt on mods go 12.0XX at Famoso, it shifts FAST... go with the DCT
