Did 220m Wheels come in gunmetal?

I've searched and searched, but can't come up with anything. Everything I have seen says that the 220m wheels only came in the one finish with brushed outer surface. Did the 220m ever come in gunmetal from the factory?

I bought my SSII 09 E90 and it came with gunmetal wheels. They are 220m with BMW markings (stamped/etched) on back) and the finish is fantastic quality. Are these factory or did the po just pay a pretty penny to have then coated? Really looks too good to be anything but a factory finish to me...

I don't particularly care for the look and I am toying with selling or refinishing. Trying to understand what I have before changing them.

Good contrast, thinking of doing this with my set of 220s

They look nice! The 220's came in machine polished silver or black (edition). I like yours, not as bling as the stock 220's and not as hidden as the black. If the finish is nice, personally I'd leave them as is.

Thanks for all the comments. They definitely change the look of the car, though may be a little aggressive for my taste. Come summer I will have to decide what to do. Until then I am running a winter set of 260m with wintersports.

Love them as well and am actually planning to powder coat my 220M wheels this shade of gunmetal with a textured satin finish.
