Glad it's working out for you. The company I used was supposivley using Venture Films, from what I heard was one of the best. Who know if they really were.. They also garunteed the product as to why I got my full refund after 4 months... Well I gave up on the film for now.. if I ever do a repaint I'll keep 3M in mind.. thanks

Which exhaust do you have on there?

Yes, they did a custom bumper film as I have a lip spoiler installed. They also did a custom lip spoiler film to protect it.

BTW, my vendor fully guarantees their film and will replace or refund if it turns yellow or discolors. I can PM you their information if you would like. Please let me know if I can help you out in any other way.

Which company did you use that put on the Ventureshield film? Ventureshield is one of the clearer films on the market right now, with the 3M I have dealt with it yellowing from the past. I know if you use certain waxes that are canuba, it will stain your film and make it discolor as well. I always was told to use sealant to up keep the film at all times. Thus far I have Ventureshield on my car and have no issues with far.

I know with ventureshield, it is recommended you put the car in the garage for a week for it to cure before taking it out and letting it bake in the sun, that is what my installers told me and I havne't had any issues thus far.

Any color that BMW has used previously or is currently using could most likely be offered.

The tint and 3M film protection was installed by Protective Film Solutions in Scottsdale, AZ. They have several years of experience and a top notch installation facility, complete with lifts. I would highly recommend them for your tinting and 3M film.

3M Film
  • Hood
  • Front Bumper
  • Front Lip Spoiler
  • Front Side Fenders
  • Side Mirrors
  • Side Rocker Panels
  • Rear Bumper Behind Tires
  • Door Edges
  • Door Handle Cups

Window Tint
  • 20% All Around
  • 20% Visor Strip on Windshield
  • 50% on Windshield (crystalline 3M)

Other mods are waiting and I will post those pics once they are installed.

I tried to catch the sunrise on the 4th of July, but the sun beat me to it. Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think.

Here is the tint being installed

I'm in the process of buying some 3m film and I was just wondering...someone told me that some of these products; not 3m in particular, turn yellow. Have you ever heard of that?

Yes, I have heard of non-3M film turning yellow. I have always used a 3M film while in the intense heat of AZ and not had any issues. I had it on my 2002 M3 for more than 5 years without any yellowing or color variation. I hope this helps.
