If you ask me, the whole idea that a person is so much more special than you are, that protocol says you are not even allowed to make any physical contact with them, is a bit crazy in this day and age.

Especially when all that person didnt actually do or accomplish anything to "earn" such a distinction, aside from either marrying the right person, or being born into the right family.

If you cure cancer or something, then someone tells me I am not worthy of touching you, well, OK, at least you have some argument there.

However, I think it would have been a better display of class had he at least bothered to have a quick shower first, rather than jam his dripping wet sweaty pits into the corner of her expensive coat, but then I'd say that regardless of who she was. I'm sure that now smells great, but she'd probably never wear it again anyways....
