Disconnected Wire in Battery Compartment

I was moving some things around and decided to take a look in the battery compartment. Glad that I did, this wire looks like it is supposed to be plugged into something somewhere. I was investigating because my CA as well as Auto Dim mirror functions are not working. My mirrors are always on the darkest setting and comfort access never detects the key. Anyway here is a picture, any ideas?

Its normal. You can search
iirc its for the battery shutoff module when cars come in to port

funny...i literally just got done hardwiring a battery tender quick disconnect to mine and saw the same harness. Was also wondering what was up with that
