HID Angel Eye Questions (Alpine, etc.)

Just installed my 8000k HID Angel eyes! Looks awesome, (Alpine brand). Easy to install, great quality all around.

Just had a couple of questions:

1) I am using GP Thunder 8500k H3 for cornering bulbs. Is this the best solution? Or are people using LED, etc. for this?

2) The kit is quite bright! Possibly too much so; if I decide this is the case can I replace the H11 bulb with H8? I hear the connection is basically the same; however H8 outputs 35W while H11 outputs 55W. (Sorry if this sounds very wrong, my HID bulb knowledge is quite fuzzy!) It may be perfect brightness though! I haven't decided

3) I know this is personal taste, but would people out there recommend changing my D1S bulb to 8000k as well?
