Corvette: Best performance for the money by FAR. And easily the most reliable of the top 5 finishers.

Props to the GT-R as well. For its price, you know that stock for stock, you can beat just about anything but a ZR1 and 911 Turbo S (excluding the $500k+ exotics).

I know the Boss Mustang is supposed to be an amazing car. But it is so hideous in that color scheme.

Wonder how a zr1 would have fared.

No real surprises for me, but would have been interesting for them to throw in a caparo to see how a dedicated track car compared.

And damn is that LFA sexy in profile...

I know this was just a comparison but talk about an unfair drag race. Did they think the Lotus or BMW 1M would fare well here? lol

Nissan GTR is a beast as always although judging by the trap speed the 458 had a nasty top end. The corvette as someone already mentioned probably had wheel spin off the line.

For sure.

The sound of the 458 stole the show for me.

If C&D had field a 911 Turbo, a 911 Turbo S, a 911 GT2 RS, and/or a ZR-1, it would have been a very different story.

I think a 911 turbo s would have certainly mixed in nicely.

+1^

I was very surprised when I saw that it wasn't there. Although the Aventador has a sky high price tag compared to the rest and therefore doesn't really belong (but then again the LF-A is present), it would've been nice to see it there.

I think with a gt2 rs and zr1 those two would end up rs and then zr1 if you stretched the race to 150 mph and over.
I think the LFA is the only real rare (limited production) car in that group and considering that a GT2 RS is rarer than that, I doubt they could find one for the race.

Edit - oh and just to add... judging by different races that I have seen comparing a stock Zr1 to Stock Z06, the Zr1 is surprisingly not that much faster as the Z06 still has a wider powerband and weighs less.

The second one isn't running stock tires hence why it says on STOCK tires, not only in my post but in the title of the video as well as in the play content. I'd like to say an idiot is someone who can't read and or comprehend. Who's the idiot now?

A good driver combined with a fast track can make for very fast times. Just like the e46 m3 that in bone stock form ran 12.7.
I'm sorry did you call me an idiot for posting up a Z06 time from a car that wasn't stock but on drag radials? Clearly I'm an idiot? I don't give a crap about your analysis the z06 time was almost a full second off which is a bullshit time, period. I called you out because you threw around idiot this idiot that when you didnt read, don't try to cover your tracks with drag strip science.
