Tire valves...
Sorry for the ignorance, but I have a question regarding the valves.
Do they have the tire pressure monitor in it? (it's all one piece?) You always change them with the tires? My front left tire doesn't hold air as the others. (1 in one month). |

The metal stems are notorious for unscrewing loose. Just take off the cap and get a socket wrench and tighten the valve stem. I carry a socket wrench in my trunk it happens so often (4 times in a year, 3 different wheels).
I make checking the tightness of the stems part of my monthly tire pressure checks now. Also any time you have the tires replaced or get a flat fixed, double check the stems, as most wheel places do not tighten them enough

Also check that the valve core is tight as well. That's the little thingy where you press to release air. There's a special tool for that, but costs less than a buck.
