Question Good find? 2008 AW FR E93 49k - 37k

2008 E93
- Alpine white
- Fox Red (non-extended) interior
- 49k miles
- DCT, EDC, PDC (rear parking sensors)
- Premium, Tech packages, heated seats
- Price is $37k

Extended warranty is available $3k for 6 additional years and up to 125k total miles. This is through Maxcare (carmax). I currently have it on hold and seriously thinking about pulling the trigger. I haven't inspected the vehicle yet, but carfax is clean. Is there anything I should look out for when buying a model from this year?

I think the price/miles is slightly high (including the warranty), but its been difficult to find this color combination on an E93 DCT in the 35-45k price range

That's about average for a car without a warranty. Add that warranty and it is fairly attractive.

Granted the markets are different, but the local Carmax in Texas put $35,000 in purchase value on my loaded 6 speed 2009 E93 with 32,600 miles 2 weeks ago.

get an 09-10 CIC is so much better. you might regret getting this.. BUT...

the price going for is about right .. but that extended warranty?.. you sure its 6 additional 6 years and 125k miles i would put that and writing and get the warranty and the car. cause thats a pretty darn good warranty.

make sure you have a paper on whats covered. cause sounds fishy to me.

That's Carmax for you. They're going to lowball you in order to resell it and make a profit. Sell it privately and you'll get a lot more than that.

I bought my 09 E93 with 68k from an Infiniti dealer for $34k back in October. I think most E9X M owners these days are having delusions about their car values not tanking.

I ended up purchasing a different car. Same color combo, but 2011 (yay CIC!!) and only 4k miles

the guy used it as a weekend car, so everything looks brand new. price was 49k, a bit out of my range, but I couldn't pass up the 4k miles.

looking forward to learning lots from the community here ^_____^

Edit:
It's still under warranty until the end of this year. Is getting the extended warranty (2 more years) worth it? Or are these cars bulletproof

plus a million

The BMW warranty doesn't cover everything but it's well worth having.

Have fun!
