1 Series just had a Bastard child...Code 130R

Code 130R, the first Chevrolet concept, is a four-seat coupe that seriously looks like a Camaro that made love to a Mazda RX-7 that had already made love to a 1 Series that was the illegitimate child of a Dodge Neon. We're not saying the design is derivative so much as it is a collage that when combined provides a completely underwhelming design for their perception of America's future.

and it looks just as ugly...

Do the designers ever take a step back and look at the actual car?

+1 and if they raked the rear roof line out to the trunk lid ala Quattro concept, it would be that much better.

I see a little bit of Scion Tc in there as well.

I don't know how the board agrees to the design. Do they REALLY think it look good?

I like how the author is taking a beating in his own comments thread. Those are perfectly valid designs, IMO. Not cars I would probably buy, but they show creativity and forward momentum.

What's really stupid about this author is that if the cars are well-made, decently powered, fuel-efficient and handle well, the market will support them.

Looks like a car designed by a committee of executives.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

I can't help but wonder what kind of reception this design's appearance would have received in this thread if the concept called for 300 hp instead of 150.
