New Toy

Got myself a little xmas present a week and a half ago. My fourth bike (and probably last according to my wife). My first ever Italian. I gotta say, it's my fav one. Love the twin sound. Already fitted the termis slipons. Sounds amazing.

Came from cbr600 f4 -> R1 CLE -> gixxer 750 -> and now duc 848

Here she was at the womb.

Some pix after the slipons. Still got the chicken strips. =)

Awesome!

I treated myself to my Ducati a while back. You'll love the torque!

awesome bike as well bro.

definitely feel the torque down low more than my gixxer. but overall, powerwise, it's quite the same. Definitely rides different though. I don't think I can go back to japanese bikes ever again.

where do you mount frame sliders on the bike? those fairings are awfully expensive to replace...

NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I always wanted a bike. I'm just afraid of all the assholes on the road. Can't exactly strap a seatbelt on, or get saved by an airbag.....

Nice Ducati, BTW my buddy is the president of the North American Ducati club. He obviously sponsors lots of events in Northern CA area.

only sliders I see is you mount it inside the fairings (i guess to save the frame). But, yes it would suck to replace the fairings *knock on wood*.

Beautiful bike; my favorite color scheme! But they built the fuel tanks so fucking weird... No width to grip onto even with StompGrip pads. Couldn't pull the trigger based on that alone.
