Where Do You Put Your Mobile? Your Wallet?

So with the nav, there isn't really a place to set your phone or wallet when you get in the car. I usually just put it in the seat or in my lap. Kind of miss the little pocket that is where the iDrive is now, but wouldn't trade my iDrive for it.

90% of the time it stays in the briefcase. Passenger seat or jacket pocket on weekends.

I used to leave it in the "armrest thingy" too until I got tired of going down to the garage to get it after I forgot to take it with me.

wallet goes on the door, cell goes between the leg extender on passenger seat.

when the leg extender is closed, it holds the phone in place great. especially if you are using a mobile dyno app

Good ideas. I like having my iPhone in a place where I can see if a message or email comes in. Maybe that's a bad thing though. Typing and driving = Bad.

Wallet in the door and cell phone in the center plugged into the iPod connector.. Keys in the pocket (keyless)
When I have another iPod with me I put the iPhone in the door handle (the one that you pull on to shut, lol not the one you open the door w.t) it fits prefect.

I have an i-phone and it fits exactly in the ashtray bin when open and I can see if I get a text that I cannot see if in the door pocket. Wallet, in the door.

Phone in cradle, wallet, I wedge it between the thigh support and seat itself. It goes no where. Same for the 325i when I commute I place my iPod there.

Driver side armrest for the phone and pocket for the wallet. If I am playing bball outside or something and leave the wallet & phone in the car I put them in the center armrest console.

Hmm, I haven't tried putting my iPhone in the ashtray yet. I'm going to try it later.

iPhone goes in the door pull.
I use a money clip, and I just throw that in the arm rest.
Wallets are way to bulky.

Maybe? The whole point of a message, voice mail, e-mail, is that it isn't going anywhere. It will be there waiting for you when you get done driving. Remember when answering machines first became common. What a great thing those were. And now, believe it or not, virtually every phone has an anwering machine built in. (How they get those casette tapes in there I don't know). It never ceases to amaze me how some people CAN NOT help themselves. When their phone rings, like trained rats, they HAVE to look at it and/or answer it, no matter where they are or what they are doing. People can leave a message and you can retieve it when you are done driving. Do us all a favor and put your phone somewhere where you can't see it while you are driving, and leave it there.
Whew! Glad I got that off my chest. I feel better now. Thanks.

Wallet in my pocket, unless long trip, then the door. BMW seats do not lend themselves to things in your pocket. Cell in the ash tray.

For short trips, phone and wallet in the pockets...

For long trips the phone is on the shelf provided by the Nav display and the wallet is in the door... for daily driiving to work and back, the phone is in the same place and the wallet is in my leg pocket...
