My 2009 e92 picked up Friday.

Friday I picked up a 2009 M3 after a long 1 week wait. I had originally had a 2010 on order until I found out the best rate I could get was 6.6 because of the ED pickup.

The car now has just over 400 miles on it from a quick trip to the mountains on my way back from atlanta. Originally, I had planned to go up to the tail of the dragon but it was raining too hard. Instead, I drove the parkway and a good run up and down NC151 then the back roads home.

My impressions....WOW. Even taking it easy on the engine the car is a hell of a lot of fun. On the rain soaked mountain roads it preformed wonderfully and predictably. The mDCT is much better than I had expected and I did not notice any lag at all. Once I got back on somewhat level roads the car averaged 22.4mpg between 70 and 80mph.

Next, I can't wait to get the engine broke in and really have some fun.

This is all the shots that I had time to take this week....I could not stop driving it after I sign the paperwork.

Looks like an E90 to me. Beautiful color, keep it clean!

What, I thought I bought an e92???

Just kidding. Stupid typing mistake on my part. Maybe I really did want an e92 more.

In the first pic, the car shines like a wet liquid clearcoat. Nice color. I like the E92 with 2 optional doors.

Yea..it was the 2 or 1 door deal the dealership had on e92s.

Nice car bro...congrats. What is interesting is how they are strategically placing the efficient dynamics sticker on all new cars. I had to remove mine immediately after delivery.
