AST 4XX0 Discontinued for E9x M3?

Just got off the phone with HP Autowerks. They informed me the AST4xx0 series for the M3 has been discontinued. Anybody hear anything about this? You can still get the struts / shocks as individual items (paying a big premium), but not as a kit.

Called AST yesterday. Only the 4200 and 4250 have been discontinued. The 4150's are still available.

thats interesting thought the 4250 was barely released. it was only about a year ago i was looking for them and they were still getting rid of the 4200s. wonder what happened with that.

The ASTs were big sellers on the E36 platform. Did OK on the E46. Haven't seen many on the E9X. Probably didn't want to bother developing BMWs any more...my guess.

Not officially released for the E9x, at least not until we get 5 people to commit.

AST 4150 custom application for E93 M3

I got my AST coilovers with 500/700 hyperco springs installed on my '11 E93 M3 a couple weeks ago... DAMN! Amazing handling, very smooth on streets... First time they applied this e90 kit to an E93 I was told... Love it. I'll write a full review after driving it for a couple more weeks. I worked with them via Autoscope in Dallas (they are based in Plano about 20 minutes north) ... They added things such as helper springs and custom stops/mounts... End product is insane though. Like driving a more aggressive sport mode but handles like a banshee.

I have the AST 4250s on my 335 (M3 setup) and absolutely love them. I just think there wasn't enough interest from AST in BMWs.
