Noise from left rear wheel well after parking
I've noticed a strange humming noise in the left rear wheel well after shutting down the car. This happens occasionally, not every time. It almost sounds like a fan spinning. This noise will last about a minute or two then goes away. The car drives perfectly though. I couldn't quite pinpoint the exact location. But for sure sounds like from the driver side. My E90 has stock EDC suspension. I can't think of anything that would resemble a fan in that area. Could anybody shed some light on this? Thanks!

The Leak Detection Pump for the evaporative emissions system and gas tank is inside the bumper just behind the rear wheel on the driver's side. You're probably hearing it run.

I get that noise all the time. I think it's the fan for the radio amp since that is in the rear corner.
