New Windshield - So Happy
After 24K miles and six track days, my windshield is hard to even see through with certain angles of sun. Finally was hit by a rock that cracked the windshield and had it replaced under insurance.
What a difference! It's like driving a new car, loving it. Probably would have been worth it to pay for the replacement. |

Is it OEM? I am going to replace mine also, but I am not sure is it worth to buy OEM? Can you use old rainsensor when replacing windshield? What about climatcomfort sensor?

It was covered by insurance, but the bill showed about $750 for the replace. |

I have an E90 M3, and I noticed after I bought it that my windshield does not have the upper tint. I think the coupes have the upper tint but not the sedans. Did your replacement glass have the tint?

The sedans and 3 series wagons haven't had the dark band of tint across the top of the windshield since early 2009. I'm sure the next M3 coupe and vert will not have it either.
