I'm going to run them on Avant Garde 359s 19x9 ET 18 and 19x10 ET 25. I'm running 265s and 245s on OEM 220s and I always feel the rear losing traction even when not on WOT in first gear or second gear. The fronts I just want to replace because they look so skimpy and to compliment the fatter rears.

From reading the threads, I believe the 255/35/19s and 285/30/19s fill up the wheel arches the best and give optimum performance for the 19x9 and 19x10 setup. However, I do hear great things about PSS but they don't come in 285/30/19 and 295/30/19 will rub, leaving just the 275/35/19s.

I want to make the right choice so I'd like to hear everyone's opinion (alternative size set ups, go with PSS, go for...)

255 PSS will likely rub with an ET of 18. HRE recommends an ET of 28 on a 9" front wheel to prevent rubbing with a 255 front tire.

Best set-up would really be 245/35 and 285/30, but as you pointed out, PSS doesn't come in 285/30.

I would stay stock sized tires on those wheels.

How bad is the rub?

I briefly had the AG 359's. I didn't notice any rubbing with 255's up front but the guy I sold them to had minor rubbing with 255's (full lock).

What tires are you using now? If you've got summer tires on may explainy why you're breaking loose all the time, that'll get better with warmer temps. PSS's outperform all of the OEM tires in wet/dry grip, stock sizes work great on the street...in the summer.

If you're ok with a possible slight rub, you could do 255/275 PSS's, or stay with stock sizes and not rub at all. If you want a 285 rear, you'll have to pass on the PSS's.

I have 19X9 Morr VS8.2 with a 22mm offset and I tried PSS in 255/35-19 and I had some rub. It wasn't all that bad, but even a little rub isn't acceptable to me. I went with the factory size of 245 in front and 275/35-19 in back which is not rubbing.

Is it a constant rub or just when say hitting a bump or taking a sharp turn?

Mine hit the wheel-well liner when turned approximately 1/3-1/2.

I'm running 255/35/19 & 275/35/19's PSS. Front rub just a little bit at 3/4 turn. They just touch. I can see the rub mark on the liner. Very small. I'd love 285 in the rear but as we know no PSS in that size. I've wondered if going to a side wall of 30 would help going to 295 in the rear?

I see that you are supercharged. 275/30 and 295/30 would be a great set-up for you. Go with 9.5" wheels in front with an ET of 22-25 and 10.5" wheels in the rear with an ET of 25-28, depending on the sidewall geometry of the particular tire. A more square tire will necessitate a more conservative fitment. I am like 99% sure of these numbers on the fitment. This assumes a stock suspension and no camber adjustment.

Would you guys thinks 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 PSS on his same offset as his M359 would have zero rub?

I run AG 359's with 18 front and 25 rear and 255/35 and 275/35 PSS

I have very SLIGHT rubbing on fender lines in the front when over half lock when going over uneven surfaces, it's not that bad.

Would lowering my car make it rub more in the front?
