With the filter element - yes. The charcoal liner/gauze is very restrictive.

its eye candy for sure, i dont want to make any judgements on the alleged performance gains as supposedly the ecu may need to adapt to the change and it was also the hottest day so far that i have run the car, so it felt different already. i will give it a few days to chill and rip it on a cool day to see if i can feel anything at all... my buddy is supposed to take some pics, but everyone kinds know what it looks like...

No, it's from a distorted seal caused by pressure from the centering pin, letting in unfiltered air.
