off topic, but how do you like the golf r? i'm still a sucker for hatchbacks..

To be honest, it's just a quicker version of the GTI. Feels tighter though and the exhaust note is much better than the GTI. The LED tails are really cool too. I actually wanted the Scirocco R because of it's looks. But not very practical compared to the Golf body and I need 4wd for the winter in case it snows. Overall I really like it. Fun little car. Changes from my z4.

I'm envious that the GTI doesn't have kph on the speedometer. Much cleaner look. I also like 270 degree sweeps on the gauges.

For the money, GTI is hard to beat.
