Does anyone have Akrapovic X-pipe and Stock muffler?

I cant afford the full Evolution system, so am thinking of combining the x-pipe with the Eisenmann Race, and it thats too loud then with the OEM muffler.
Is there any point in that OEM combination?
How would the sound of OEM + X-pipe compare to the orignial stock set up?
