For Sale: Dension Gateway 500 (USB and iPod/iPhone connectivity)

Hi, this is a Dension Gateway 500.

If your car didn't come with a USB port and you wish it had, this is the cheapest option of getting the same functionality as the OEM USB port.

You can connect a USB pen drive or an iPod/iPhone (which will also charge while playing).

The songs will appear on the iDrive screen and all the normal controls will work as you would expect, including the steering wheel controls.

The unit emulates the CD changer and connects to the MOST fibre optic network.

This is a full kit with all the wiring as shown in the photo.

If your car came with a CD changer, there is no coding required. Obviously the unit will make your CD changer redundant, however there is a bypass switch which will allow you to switch off the Dension unit and use your CD changer instead.

If your car didn't come with a CD changer, it will still have all the necessary wiring as if it did come with a CD changer. All that is needed is to have it coded for a CD changer. Any indy with an Autologic can do it, or if you're handy with NCSExpert, you can do it yourself.
