Official APEX Wheels Showroom Gallery Thread
Show Us What You Got! With an increasing number of E9X M3 enthusiasts mounting APEX wheels on their vehicles for both street and track use, we see many photographs of APEX wheels shared throughout the forum. This thread will compile photos of different APEX wheel fitments, as well as provide the community with detailed information surrounding wheel and tire fitment, alignment settings, brake and suspension clearances and more! Please feel free to ask questions along the way, we have fitment experts ready to provide technical support for both spirited street driving to weekend track warriors. Feel free to just share pictures, but we know other enthusiasts would greatly appreciate if you included the following:

I'll play.
- Anthracite Apex EC-7 18x10 ET25 squared - Hankook R-S3 275/35/18 all around - Stock suspension w/ EDC. No spacers, fender rolling, etc. Couldn't be happier with the setup for both street and track!

Wheel Model: ARC-8
Color: Was black, painted 2002 Inka Orange (Paint Code 022) Size: 18x8.5 Front and Rear Offset: ET38 Tyres: Dunlop DZ03G, H1 Compound Suspension: H&R all round, coilovers on front. Camber Plates: Yes, approx -3, -3.5 on front? (Am getting new ones this week from TMS which will give me -4) I have AP 4 pot calipers on the front. Interesting note that my previous BBS wheels (same size and offset as the ARC-8) needed spacers to clear the brakes. These wheels do not need spacers. Guards are completely stock. I can still get a little bit of a finger between the rear wheels and the guard. There is no rubbing as far as I can tell, either slow driving, nor racing.

We actually have been working on a couple different 19" wheel designs love to state a mid-late 2013 release but can not guarantee that at this point.

Here was the car last weekend at Buttonwillow on ARC-8 wheels and Hankook TD 265/295 tires:
(This is the same car as in Post #13 of this thread) APEX ARC-8 Hyper Silver 18x9.5" ET22 & 18x10.5" ET27 265/35/18 and 295/30/18 Hankook TD soft compound tires JRZ Suspension (actually the front is not on JRZ in these two pics. The front is stock damper, H&R Race lowering spring, and GC camber street plates. JRZ fronts are going back on on Monday.) No problems at all with 295/30/18 in the rear. (That was my first time on TD tires. They are unbelievable in terms of how much grip they have. Incredible.) These wheels have seen around 20 punishing track days. They've tasted desert-----ahem----a few times. I've done several drift days on these wheels. They have to deal with the forces of a big brake it. Actually the TD tires added another new element of force because of their grip. You should have seen the AP Racing calipers smoking when I came in after a 15 minute session, and they have dedicated race pads for the track. They ride berms frequently because the JRZ are so compliant on berms. They have been totally solid on the track. Never a hiccup. I have no hesitation at all recommending these wheels as great staple track wheels----light, strong, affordable. Is there a better combination for tracking? |
