coilovers - kw or megan racing for 2011 E92 M3

Hey guys,

Long time lurker, new member Glad to be a part of the forum finally!

I have a bone stock 2011 M3 coupe and I'm looking to get mainly suspension mods for now, and am looking at two coilovers, the megan racing and kw. I hear both are good but the Megan Racing is less expensive. Anyone have experience with either?

Here's the Megan Racing: http://www.aptuned.com/MR-CDK-E92M3
Here's the KW: http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-nu...n/10220047.asp

As you can see, the KW is almost double... but is it worth the price difference?

I also heard KSport was a good brand, but not sure if they make E92 coilovers.

Also, would any E92 coilover work on an M3, or does it have to be M3 specific?

Thanks

Mark

I have never seen a Megan Racing coilover kit on an M3 before....that must say something...I can personally vouch for KW V3's, an excellent product.

Coilover wise, I would stick with KW. This is a case where you literally get what you pay for.

Can we please not put megan crapovers on our cars? The are the epitome of all that is wrong with crappy car products.

they're absolutely horrible. terrible damping, extremely temperature sensitive, uneven spring quality, etc etc.

I wouldn't say they're terrible if you get them set up correctly. I have a couple friends on Megan Tracks on their Evo 9's that beat Evo's on KW CS's.

But regardless I would probably choose the KW V3 over the Megans.

I set them up correctly. If you can't tell they suck, you aren't fast enough.
