PCD and M3 break-in recommendations

Hi all,

I am seriously considering PCD for my M3. I would be driving back to Austin, TX. For others who have done this, how did you manage your driving style (one of the recommendations is to vary speeds and RPM during the 1st 1200 miles)? On the one hand the drive of 1100 mile drive would get me to the 1200 mile break-in pretty fast , but I am wondering how well I would be able to best break-in the car at the same time.

there are so many different opinions on this. i'd say just go with what bmw tells you to do for the break-in. you don't want to go knock the whole break-in out at once. it is best to do it gradually. so, while the 1100 mile drive would get the break-in over quickly, i don't think that is the best answer. just my opinion.
