Spotted today at Rallye BMW on Long Island:

2011 ZCP M3, almost 27,000 miles. Seven months remaining on warranty.

$62,995

Does this mean that if I buy my own 2011 M3 when it comes off lease in a few months, with around 33K miles, for $43,000 (approx residual), I can turn around and sell it for $60K+? Sweeet!!

why do dealerships do shit like this? do they still think that there's going to be this one idiot that will pay that price? yeah, and they'll be 100 people and 100 Internet posts that turn other customers off your company altogether because if you start out trying to screw people, no one will really trust you for anything...

The best thing is, some poor schmuck will buy that super-rare green M3 for $99K, feeling good that he talked the dealership down from $111K, and then two days later on the streets of SoCal he will see a $50K M3 that looks absolutely identical to his--it will be an Alpine White with a green custom vinyl wrap.

I was just there today and saw this. The salesman tried to play up the whole "well there are only xx amount in the whole US in Java green". I turned around and left haha

It's an unusal color combo, They are definitely hyper inflating the price though My guess it will sell around the $57K mark

Irvine BMW is notorious for being a bunch of schmucks. I purchased a 135 for my wife there several years ago and the experience from the day of purchase through multiple services was AWFUL.

If avoid this dealership if you can....they are idiots.

Dude that's nothing. Do a search on cars.com, you won't believe the pricing on some of these used M3's. Saw a 2012 for $69,999 fully loaded, with almost 20K on the odometer. A brand new loaded 2013 was about $73,000 give or take. How the hell does a dealership come up with that pricing, wasn't even a Limerock or Frozen, just AW and that color is FREE???????????
