Shifting lights?
I just bought an E92 M3 (DCT) last week but I noticed that the shifting lights don't illuminate even though I set them ON using idrive. Even with the M button on, they still don't. Granted I haven't taken her above 5500rpm or really gone WOT yet so maybe that's why. There's only 500 miles on the odo so far. Are they only activated after the 1200 mile service?

No, they only come on much closer to the 8,400 rpm redline. The 5,500 rpm you are reaching during break-in is simply not high enough. If you want to stick to the break-in guidelines you will have to wait until after the 1,200 mile service and if you truly follow the guidelines you won't hit redline until a while after the 1,200 mile service...

Yes, getting to 1,200 miles was almost as painful as waiting for the car to arrive from Germany!
