Me neither but if I was prepared to spend the money on a 458, I'd also invest money in a wide body makeover that didn't involve a tacked on, rivet filled, front and rear fender... I'd have the panels redone or something more appropriate than rivets Just my view...

Cant remember the name (Rough Style) but thats the new thing is just bolt it on and go, I think it looks cheap I had a good friend with a TRD widebody kitted supra that was 100% molded in and that was perfection this new style not so much.

They get me twitching!

In my mind the rivets make it look as though cash is even less of a concern and it follows function over form... I doubt there are any real world gains from the kits but damn they look good to me!

i understand why people do the LW kits and completely respect it.

Personally though, I generally modify to enhance a vehicles performance, not lessen it. These kits are overly wide and dramatically alter the factory tuned dynamics of the car.

You are right, it's just look's and the worst part for me...you really destroy the car. You really cut the fender's, so it's irreversible body work done to it.
It definately look's very special ( positively ment )

If that was the one from SEMA, frame was notched for air ride also.

I'm not a huge stance fan but I love the LW kit on the 458. Makes it look waaay tougher mainly because of the flares. Adds attitude the 458 lacks IMO.

I think they look horrible and remind me of some miata "tuners" who went to Home Depot to try and think of a way to make 15x9 inch rims fit their car in a very low offset.

I was once into modifying cars. However, today, I think I would just like to purchase cars that don't need to be modified. Design engineers don't spend millions in R&D to develop suspension, set factory specs, just to have some guy and his friends relabel some suspension components and brand them as the next best thing.

Regarding that 458 with the vertical wing. Has that been wind tunnel tested? I never understood why people put that vertical wing as it seems like a huge amount of drag
