I agree the cost it should fit as close I OEM as possible. I have the GTS3 (I believe it's called that... I forgot) and the bumper is pretty spot on. We did a few modifications and its not quite perfect sitting on the lights. Overall not bad.

The rear diffuser I bough several back from voresteiner is a different story. We had to custom mould it to the back bumper for it to look right and sit flush. It was way off in so many areas.

I wonder how their stuff fits on the Bentley GTs, Ferraris, etc..I mean those are big money cars and wonder if quality and fitment is better.

I've bought a CRT Style CF Chin from JBspeed and now I am using a Replica GTS Style CF Lip.

I didn't expect good fitment, but surprisingly it was decent. So for the price of a few hundred it's good. I'm not too worried about damaging it.

I had the same problem with fitment, dropped over $2.5k for the GTS-v lip and it looked like something that fell off a civic. I bought mine from IND and they just said "sorry no refunds".

Same issue here. 4th times a charm...I hope.

i REALLY like this lip and wanna get it but i can't get around how much it costs! ~$2,500USD

i'm just worried the 2nd day i get it on i'm gonna crack the underside.

also i track my car so i like how its really smooth underneath and has the built in brake ducts.
I bought my first gts-v lip from a fellow member. (new)

I'm very picky with fitment and I'd say the lip fit 8/10.

Doesn't seam 100% symmetrical. Right fender liner is perfect where left has a gap...

ANYWAYS just a heads up to people installing this lip, mine lasted 2 days.

I made the mistake of not adding extra screws to the bottom bumper side and at high speed the lip came off the front of my bumper in one loud bang.
It's best to remove the bumper for install..

I just ordered a second one as it's that nice, there is nothing else with good ground clearance that I like.

Alot of the so called higher end stuff just isn't worth the $$. I have a top branded lip which I paid top dollar for and took months to get ended up not fitting well at all. To top if off the well known company I purchased it from insists that it was my install issue. I purchased a replica of the lip from JL and for some reason my install issue became non-existent lol......I will be putting up the authentic one for sale soon since they wouldn't take it back nor take care of me after the fact.

Fitment perfectly fine to me. I had to remove the front bumper to install that. I track my car one a week tho. Any kind of lips will scrape a bottom part if ur car drop btw here is the pic sorry took it with my iPhone so pic wasn't that good tho.

I got double side carbon fiber vorsteiner trunk also. I would say the fitment 9/10 tho but keep an eye on the tech that whom installed for you tho make sure to tell them to get a right alignment. Here is a pic

Did you use 3m along with the screws?

How many holes did you drill under the bumper?

Did you screw directly into the carbon or did you use nuts to secure the bolts?

Sorry for a late reply tho. Yep bumper was off the car first they did use the 3m along. They had to drill 3 or 4 holes to get all the OEM crews in place tho. And they had to do some custom such as use the grinder to sand some areas around the edger to get move evenly. It took them 2 days to install the lip plus extra day cause I wanna put clear bra to a lip for more protection. End up pay quite a bit for the labor but turn out really well.

Exact same story here, mine might have lasted 3-4 days IIRC.

I love the paint scheme on your front bumper! Great job.

thanks for the heads up...

I hope mine fits well from the start as I don't know of a local shop that would be able to install.

Ridiculous that a 3000$ lip needs prep to fit correctly.

Without custom I was freaking out at first too big ass gaps at the edger and the front attach to the bumper tho. I think it's better to bring it to body shop cause they have sand paper plus tools you have to put a clear coat or clear bra after tho cause to make it fit they will sand it down then original clear will be mess up fasho tho. Nothing is perfect body

yes, was on the freeway and at about 135 I hear this loud scrapping noise and pull over. It was still partially attached. The shop who installed it said it looked like I ran over something, but I think they were just covering their asses.

Ok that's messed up...

I was going about your speed and I hear a loud bang... I thought I had blown the motor.

When I pulled over I saw the lip had come off the front of the car but it was it attached at the rear mounting bolts (3) and in the fender liner. I just pushed it back on so I could drive it home.

How many screws were installed on the underside when yours came off? I'm wondering if the gap between the bumper and the lip forms a passage for air to push threw... I'm nervous about installing the second one now

Unfortunately I didn't see how many screws were used but they definitely did not use enough. I did the same as you and pulled the lip back up onto the bumper and slowly drove home.

What size are the brake ducts for the hoses? Can anyone send me the installation instructions that come with the spoiler?

i had the exotics tuning lip which is somewhat similar to this, and the fitment was near OEM, I still have it I just never put it on yet only test fit but damn that it was spot on even without being mounted on. It uses oem screw holes too I believe. Ive had vorsteiner products before on my previous E46 m3...never again. the Platte Form AG lip fits very well too.
