M3 E92 or E93

hello everybody.
i have just one ultimate question for you guys. what do you think about buying an M3. coupe or convertible.
im hesitating on that since months. especially on performance point of view. is there any difference.?
in the convertible model, is there any excessive noise according to coupe version, while the car is in top speed du to hard top isolating noise.
thanks.
adil from morroco.

IMO if wind noise is unbearable to you and performance is a high priority, your better off with the coupe. If you like the top down and don't mind a little sacrificed performance, convertible. From what I've heard, the coupe is stiffer and feels faster than the vert but I personally wouldn't mind driving the vert. A little road noise doesn't hurt anyone and driving through a tunnel is . Only thing you have to watch out for is water leaking through the top when you wash it

I think it's what YOU want. Coupe is faster for sure but if you like to cruise around with the top down then go for it.

The E93 is as quiet as a coupe or sedan with the top up. After all, it has the same sound insulation.

The decision factors here are extra weight, extra cost, and whether top-down driving is something that floats your boat. As a life-long convertible freak, it was the only M3 I was interested in.
