New tires - question about steering feel

I just changed my tires out from Pzeros to Bridgestone's S-04. I went up in width by 10mm front and back (to 255/275). After about two hours of mixed freeway and street driving, i am unsure about the tires.

On the street they feel great, more response and grip than the Pzeros. On the freeway i can feel every single imperfection and bump on the road which is great; HOWEVER the steering feels noticeably lighter on the freeway, which i do not like. Can anyone chime in on whether people have the same impression about these tires? Is it a result of the fatter and stiffer sidewall? Do they just need to be broken in and the steering will get heavier or is it all in my head?

You can always try adjusting the pressure since that can have a big impact on feel.

I notice that same lightness most every time I get new tires compared to the old worn ones. On a little Honda with no power steering it is very noticeable.

I would give it a little time.

Just get your servotronics tuned and it'll be heavy enough

Thanks for the suggestion. Reduced fronts by 2 PSI and felt great afterwards.
