Horn issue
Hi folks-
somehow my horn went out. i hear a click click sound when i push my horn on my e92 M3 but no honk. i checked the fuses and they aren't blown. any other thoughts? i tried to search through forums but i can't seem to find an answer. i'm out of warranty now, sadly. could it be the relay? or maybe a connection in the steering wheel? any insight would be great! thanks! |

It could be the relay or the horn itself. If you can switch the horn relay with something similar to rule out the relay. If the horn itself still does not work unplug the horn and use a test light to see if you actually get 12v at the plug when the horn is pushed. Or you can manually power the horn to see if it works.

The relays are behind the fuse box? I think i should try that.
If that doesn't work, how do I go about unplugging the horn? Not sure where it's located at... Thanks! |
