Realistic Plea?

Is it realistic to try and get an AW m3 coupe, mdct, premium, edc, ipod for 1500-2000 above invoice?
Based on gas prices, economy, loyality to bmw, cars not selling, etc.
The car's msrp is 62,600, invoice is 57,530
Maybe a sedan would be more realistic for 1500-2000 above invoice because they're not selling nearly as well at my dealership.
Any input would be great.
I realize it depends on many factors.

Trying to get my dealer to drop 2 grand off the MSRP on a E92 is like pulling teeth. Goodluck.

I'm guessing probably not to realistic. Depends on the dealer, how many they have and if your're willing to go for a MT instead of DCT. DCT still is harder to come by. Also, if you are looking to spec out, then no discount. If you are trying to buy off the lot, good luck getting that specific combination above. You might need to bend on color, options and DCT. Just my 2 cents

Maybe try to find the car the best matches what you want, go to the dealer and make a hard offer..."I will buy right now at this price" If they say no, walk away.

I too am thinking of this kind of offer to my dealer. I was set to buy about 3 months ago at full sticker, then something came up and had to put the purchase on hold. Now, I feel like I should be able to get quite a bit off of an e90 M3.

Keep in mind the dealer holdback. I'm pretty sure BMW has a 3% holdback of MSRP. Quick math shows that to be about $1,800 on a $60k M3.

i mentioned the easier to get sedan because my dealer has about five or six sedans, and they aren't moving.
they have a nice little AW coupe, fox red interior with only the premium package that i'm in love with, but i want edc at least, i heard comfort mode is extremely comfortable, ha.
The sedans, i believe, are quite nicely optioned, i'm looking for a "modestly" priced m3.
Sure the gizmos are nice, i like the features of idrive and what not, but that thing pisses me off.
I guess its those little nawing kind of things that make you in love with your car.

Try it and there is no harm in trying. As the good book says: 'You will miss all the shots that you didn't take.' Good luck and happy shopping.
