Nothing worse than seeing your ex doing so much better after the split. Not only it will feel like shit, everyone will tell you that you lost someone important and tell her she made the right choice.

You want that grin on your face, this is as real as it gets. At the end, if you pull it off, it's a win-win situation. You get to laugh about your last relationship while she regrets AND your life will be just better in general.
