24 mpg!!!

What you have to do to get 24 mpg is drive on the highway at 60 mph. I was escorting another vehicle - I could never do this voluntarily!

I got 22.8 on Sunday driving to my moms house at 80 MPH. Drive was 90 miles each way with no traffic. I think that is the best I have seen on my car.

I dont trust the digital gauge. I use the gas cubby app and it seems like the digital reading overshoots by about 10%.

My maximum mpg is 22.8 according to gas cubby (calculates based on how much you fill up and how far you travelled) but the digital reading in the car was 25mpg.

Edit:
If you have DCT, once the engine warms up and you drive for long period around 70 mph, you will get about 22-24mpg actual.

I don't think you were escorting anybody. I think you were trying to conserve that 1/8 of a tank you have left. Jk.

i stopped caring about MPG after reaching my goal of 23 on any cruise. It was mostly for me to know that it is possible if i drive a certain way.

BMW's mpg algorithm is about as reliable as a Yugo.

Had to drive the M3 to work this week for the first time. In SoCal with little traffic driving 100 miles round trip. Average speed 65-80 and averaging 24mpg according to the digital display.

22.6mpg average from Atlanta to Boca...includes a few spirited runs through the back roads in Atlanta. Speed average was around 67mph.

I also have to mention that on track, i averaged 5.8-6.5 mpg
