E90 M3 DCT - Clean Exhaust Sounds - Corsa

I've always received nothing but compliments on my M3's trumpet. It's a Corsa axel back. Can't have anything too loud, because I have clients to keep happy

Enjoy.

(Yes, the butt is a little dirty. Hit a puddle and kicked up debris. Ugh!!)

Sounds great. Corsa is one of the best sounding exhausts on this car.

Like the OP I wanted something low key but with a nice bark...had no interest in losing my hearing, waking babies or letting folks know I was coming two blocks ahead. I bought my Corsa with the black tips and had the entire unit ceramic coated. Now it looks as great as it sounds

I've got a Corsa too and love it. I'm thinking about doing the xpipe soon but wondered if there was anyone out there who had done this already with a Corsa as id love to hear a sound bite before I press the button... ?

Just the best sounding V8 out there, that's all.

Do you get any drone, or rather, how bad is it at 2500?

Thanks, and totally agree. Easy install and if I remember correctly 15 pounds lighter than stock.

The corsa doesn't really drone. There is some noise but nothing that will bother you or anyone in the car. You can still have a normal conversation at 2500rpms. What I've found is at 65mph the car goes silent with the corsa and if I'm not mistaken that's exactly at 2500rpms in top gear.

Should have clarified, I meant with the X pipe added. I have the corsa on already and I love it.

I've always liked the sound of the Corsa system. It still keeps the original exhaust character but gives it a bit more personality. Way too many aftermarket systems out there that sound like absolute shit.

It's one of the few I'd ever get along with Borla and ESS (and the MPE).

My second favorite after the MPE, great exhaust at a nice price. People rag on the looks but I thought it looked fine, nothing spectacular, simple and clean. I painted the cans which helped conceal them.

I used to have the Corsa with a Challenge street x-pipe and it sounded amazing!

That's my favorite type of exhaust. You forgot giving Sr citizens heart attacks on the spot.
