Anyone seen or have the "Tric Plate"?

Has anyone installed (or seen) one of these license plate covers? Sounds like it will grey-out the view of the plate at the push of a button.

well i guess it'll help you avoid speed cams if there are a lot of those in your area.

I have managed to avoid robbing banks for my entire life and did not need one of those things to accomplish this. Fear of incarcetation has been a more than adequate deterent.

I have been somewhat less sucessful at avoiding tolls.

It is stated that it is "for show purposes only" to protect privacy...

Not so interested in robbing banks, but sure would be cool to have this linked to the Escort 9500ci (or other GPS enabled gear) such that it triggers when entering speed camera areas, redlight cameras, etc... I am sure there will be an iphone app for this soon!

Some one using this should never be allowed to drive once stopped by the police IMHO for they are only up to no good and eventually hurt someone or even themselves.
