I just recently fit all four stock 19s in the back (w worn out OEM-sized PS2s - tight fit, but made it.

That said, probably won't do it again - ha!

Loving the new, wider PSS!

I picked up my new summer rims and tires yesterday just 3 KM from my house ...

John carefully mounted them on my babe for me (Thanks John you are a Gentleman and what can I say great craftsman too ... he can work or shall I say could have worked on my crews any time ... torques each wheel down to the speck requirements in three tightening sequences after ensuring there are no burs on any of the mounting faces).

Anyhow back to topic ... here are Johns original wheels that I purchased from him ... I love them, they look great on my car ...

Check them out here they are on his car ---> Click to open

And here they are on my White Tornado ----> Click to open

Naturally I had to take my 220m rims and tires home ... we managed to fit three in the back with the rear seats folded down ... could have fitted the forth one too, however, opted to rest it on the passenger seat for the short 3 KM ride home since I saved some tire/wheel plastic bags from the past ... Great wheels and tires John love them ... nice to have a second set of wheels my 220m wheels will now become my winter wheels until IO decide to purchase that Porsche then the 220m's will stay on the Bimmer and the Porsche will love the new acquired VIP Modular VRS-13 20 x 9.5, 20 x 11 - Stepped Lip, 3 pc. forged center, patented spun barrel, made 100% in the USA Machined/clear center with polished accents, painted barrel wheels.

I see track people get 4 18s pretty frequently. Either one or two lying flat in the trunk (can't remember which) and then the remaining wheels standing upright on the fold-down rear seat. Buy some tire tote bags with handles, then run some sort of strap through the handles of the upright tires and hook the ends to the cargo net mount points. Voila!

was it some rumor that they made the trunk and fold down seats able to fit 4 wheels/tires for track days?

i know that the e60 had a diagram in the trunk that explained how to fit 4 golf bags in the trunk. talk about marketing to the right audience.
