Drove around on some icy roads.

It was so slippery that even lightly lifting off the gas pedal in 2nd and the car was sideways. Blizzaks didn't help much. Too icy.

Keeping it dusty for track day on sunday. Will lose out on some aerodynamics. Btw, my 1-2 shifts are like butter.

had to clean my wheels yesterday after recent track day. do it every time to get all the pick up off. this time because they had to put that kitty litter crap down to absorb an oil leak someone had i basically had dried cement on the barrels of my wheels. took forever to come off. ended up using a rubber bondo scraper to get the crud off. terrible stuff.

Tried to get rid of a strong smell inside my car by using a bunch of arm and hammer fridge fresh filters. Didn't work. Dealer says its the smell of the leather, but it smells like rotten leather to me. Took it to the detailer who used some ozone fan deal, that didn't work. LOL! Not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?

Your leather should smell good. What did you do in there? Maybe you have a rotten burrito in your trunk like the last guy.

LOL! I did nothing, purchased it used this way. Its not unbearable, its smells like leather that has been wet and dried off. Musty kind of. I thought the detailer could get rid of it, but no dice. He shampooed the carpets, treated the leather, cleaned every part on the inside and this damn smell wont go away. Dealer keeps saying its the smell of leather, but my E46 didn't smell like that.

I don't think that really looks any better. Instead of ugly but functional, it's ugly and makes the bumper look defective.

I installed my new cf mirrors and got nice new leather floor mats (although they will not go in the car until the weather improves.

Yeah I don't like the stock reflectors, the painted ones don't look good close up but they look great from a distance.

I wonder if there are clear/white reflectors available....

You might be defective. Painted looks better than orange, and euro even better.

From a long distance and on a dark car maybe. Up close, the color always looks a bit different due to how the light hits it. It's like a zit with concealer on it.

My personal ranking is painted <= stock orange <= clear (but the only manufacturers make crap that gets waterlogged) < carbon fiber (embrace the madness, go for max contrast) < Euro look.

Yeah never can be perfect. You could just put a big scared money don't make money sticker there to cover it up.
