Off topic - Anyone with DVB-S/Satellite knowledge?
First off, I would like to say sorry for posting off topic in the general forum, but I am going nuts about this. It is driving me crazy that I cant make it work, so I am hoping that someone has done it before, or knows about LNBs.
I have purchased a SkyStar DVB-S card so I can view FTA channels, but somehow I dont get any signal (satelllite dish is pointed corectly). I am not sure if my LNB (Dish Pro Plus Triple) is compatible with my SkyStar 2 card. I should at least get some signal... Please help!

It is compatible but you've got to adjust TP settings … I‘d start reading for example here http://www.dssrookie.com/forums/ and http://www.dss-newbies.net/forums/ and http://www.dvbcore.com/ than get what you need here http://joshyfun.peque.org/transponders/index.html . Anyway this is REALLY a wrong place for this discussion …
