+1 for the Valentine, but the escort is great too. I also wired mine into the sunroof as I have the sedan.

i can sell you my Escort Passport x50... it is just as good as the Valentine V1 check up some reviews on it. i have everything it comes with box case manual wires mounts even the receipt. Payed $335 for it.

Its in flawless condition with not a single scratch on it. if you are interested PM me an offer.

and yes, its saved my ass plenty.

Beware of RadarTest.com - It is run by Craig Peterson who works for Bel and Escort and he bashes the V1 every chance he gets. He got busted trying to sabotage the Guysoflidar.com 2007 radar detector test. They were getting anomalous results and they discovered a $1000 radar gun with his company's information on it hidden on top of a mountain near their test site. He got sued for screwing up a radar detector test and he lost and had to pay them back for the money they wasted. The Escort 8500 X50 isn't even in the same ballpark as the Valentine One.
