Question e92 - How do I remove headlight washer caps??

So one of the washer spouts underneath the cap is sunken in a bit. I think if I can just take off the washer cap and see, perhaps I can forgo a long trip to the dealer.

It seems like I can just grab it and pull up on the cap, but there is resistance. I'm hoping for some suggestions before I go any further. Thoughts??

be careful with the paint but if you tug it hard enough it should come off.

I recommend not doing this yourself.
