that seems a bit high to me,maybe $36k would be more reasonable with that many miles on it.

dealer maintenance consists of oil changes about every 15k miles.i would look for more frequent ones,at least every 7500 miles.i would also want to be sure they changed the diff and trans fluids at 30k.

I've been tracking the prices of E92's with average miles (15k/yr) for a while now. This is what I'm seeing:

2008: $36k - $38k
2009: $38k - $40k
2010: $43k - $49k
2011: $46k - $56k
2012: $58k - $64k
2013: $65k - $69k

Does this sound about right?

I think thats pretty close to what I am seeing... and i have been searching already everyday for the last couple weeks. One thing i noticed is that there are a ton of 08's and most of them are overpriced compared to 09 10.

People have been dumping them after the factory warranty expired. And with 09+ having CIC iDrive, I think it's much better to step up to the 09 models for just a little more.

Definitely agree with this statement. Of course production stats showed a large decrease in 2009 and especially 2010 before surging back with 2011 models. Nonetheless, the low end of the resale market has surged in the past couple of years to prop prices on 2008 models. Almost two years ago now (January 2012) I almost bought a 2008 E90, fully loaded except no sunroof (exactly what I wanted), with 42k miles, and I had the deal closed at $35,000 even.

I decided to wait and get a 2010 or 2011 and then a whole year later found an unreal condition 2011.5 with only 16k miles and CPO -- almost all options except sunroof and EDC -- exactly what I wanted. Paid $54k for it back in Feb.

Since that time, prices on *all* E90 M3s seem to have held strong. Non-sunroof cars are highly sought after too, so if you have one, find that right buyer who is desperately searching for one. Of course now that EAG is stepping into this market, expect even more firm pricing going forward? I mean they just sold a non-roof E90 for $2k more than I paid almost a year ago, and it had 37k miles versus my 16k, and it wasn't BMW CPO.

After dabbling a bit in the E90/92 market a couple of years ago, they seem to now be getting more serious about entering it for real.

I just made an offer on the 2011 M3 $47,000 the dealer said that they didn't have
that much mark up that car. I sent him a spread sheet showing 12 M3 in the area
avg. price $50k they also told me my 2011 535i is only worth $33,000 it's a loaded 6MT kind of rare
anyway I hit him back $49k for the M3 and 35k for my car.
